Betty Jean Robinson was once named the female country songwriter of the Year in Billboard magazine. However, even amid her recording and songwriting career in the country-western genre, she could sense God calling her to leave secular music. After enduring many struggles and difficulties during her career and in her home with family members, Betty Jean rededicated her life to Christ.
She was immediately writing songs that glorified God-like “Jesus is Alive and Well,” “On the way to home,” Ride Through the Storm,” and “He is Jehovah.” The songs and her ministry extend across the country, reaching into prisons, churches, hospitals and even into homes, touching hearts and people with the faith of Christ.
Betty Jean has two daughters who are now with Jesus, five grandchildren six great-grandchildren who still live within the mountains of Tennessee.
